Inclusive yoga, mindful movement.
I bring a harmonious blend of discipline and playfulness to every class. A devoted cat mom and dessert lover, I believe balance is key—on the mat and in life. Whether you're seeking strength, calm, or just a good stretch, my classes are designed to uplift and inspire.
Meet CeCe May
I’m CeCe, a E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, songbird and live-long student of mindful movement. I live with my husband, Kyle and our three precious cats Leana, Maya and Frankie in Nashville Tennessee. You might know me as the owner and founder of Luna Yoga, an inclusive yoga studio where I taught many classes from the day we opened in 2022 until January of 2025. Closing my beloved yoga studio can’t stop me from doing what I love…teaching and connecting with folks in the community.
I was born a Virgo and raised in a small town in Georgia, then moved to Nashville in 2011 to follow my dream as a songwriter. I studied commercial music at Belmont University and once I graduated in 2014, I began touring, writing and performing frequently. It was through my songwriting that I was able to connect with people and tell stories that celebrate life’s beauty and complexity, drawing inspiration from the world around me. While immersed in the music scene, I discovered yoga and it transformed my life.
Yoga became a new form of self-expression, one that complemented my creative journey. After completing my 200-hour teaching training, I began teaching and found my true voice through guiding others. Years later, I expanded my knowledge with a 300-hour teaching training under Susanna Barkataki, integrating inclusivity and mindfulness into my teaching.
Teaching vinyasa is what I love most and it’s ever-evolving, creative sequencing allows space for freedom and self-expression. By blending mindfulness and movement, I aim to help you find balance, strength and connection.
Today I weave my love for music, nature and yoga into everything I do, inspiring others to connect deeply with themselves and the world around them. My hope is that our practice together helps you stay rooted in yourself while remaining restless in your curiosity, your growth, and your connection to the world around you.
I look forward to practicing with you very soon!
With Peace,
CeCe
